Title: Classic Bodie
Rating: G
Medium: Oil on canvas board
Dimensions: 12"- h x 9"-w

I want to do a version of Doyle in fencing gear at some point also.

This was also exhibited in the art show at Media West. It went home with a very happy Bodie fan. :-)

Breathtaking, literally. I gasped when this opened on my screen.
Your art never disappoints, but -wow- I don't know how this one can be surpassed. (but go ahead - I can stand it!)

I know I've told you already, but this is just stunning.

I want to do a version of Doyle in fencing gear at some point also.

And if you do, I hope you show the original at a con I'm attending. Because I would pay any price for the original of that. *g*

Bodie (Lewis Collins) was a strikingly handsome young man for his time--peaches and cream complexion with those Black Irish eyes and hair. He could come across as very arrogant though--that was part of the character, which was supposed to be thuggish and brutish. But the actor brought a sweetness and playful sense of humor to the character that was very endearing and so the character evolved because of it. Sort of the way David Hewlett brings his quirky personality to Rodney, I think. :-) That's why I like them both very much. :-)

Will you be going to Shore Leave to see David Hewlett? I wish I could go but it's kind of expensive.

Take care and thank you for your kind words--I appreciate it very much. I'm going to look at your stuff tomorrow when I'm more awake and can enjoy it with eyes that are working properly.;-)

LOL!! This is Bodie from the British TV show The Professionals. The show was on the same time as Starsky and Hutch, in the late '70's. Bodie excelled at flaring his nostrils, shooting big guns and looking superior. And he was quite a cutie--seriously brooding and sexy. ;-) You've got him pegged perfectly.

Thanks so much for your comment, Hon! I appreciate you coming by to visit. :-)
